The history of K-M IMPORT Kożuchowski – Marciniak Sp.J. dates back over 20 years. It was founded by Waldemar Kożuchowski and Jakub Marciniak. Initially, the company was established in Piła, focusing on car sales and rental of trailers. With the dynamically changing needs of the market, the offer was increased by trucks. These were primarily vehicles manufactured by MAN and IVECO with the following bodywork types: container, trailer with tarpaulin, refrigerated vehicle.
Since the very beginning, the company focused on high-quality vehicles, which is why most of them were imported from German service networks. After a short time, the offer was extended by MAN tractor units and Schmitz Cargobull semi-trailers. These were primarily vehicles used by customers in a standard domestic traffic, then international.
In 2003, the company moved to the yard located on the main road E-10 in Stara Łubianka near Piła. The company had a steady supply of more than 50 commercial vehicles. This made it possible to diversify the offer. To a large extent it included MAN tractor units: Standard, Mega for long-distance routes, as well as specialized: with axis system 4×4 for tippers, 6×2. Semi-trailers included predominantly the Schmitz brand: curtain, curtain-siders, container, insulated and refrigerated trucks.
Two years later, the company celebrated the opening of a new office with service of trucks. Workshop is equipped with four repair stations, diagnostic tools, but most of all it has a skilled staff. In a short time this service was named the Authorized Service Partner of Schmitz Cargobull – since then we have been providing the following services: service and repair of Schmitz Cargobull trailers.
Currently, the company employs 30 individuals and offers more than 150 vehicles: tractor units, semi-trailers and trucks.
